Behold my brand new writer blog

my blogging setup complete with folding keyboard and fancy Boston cafe!

Not gonna lie, I’m realizing I may have a blogging problem. As I was creating this site, I discovered that I have a grand total of eleven blogs. And that doesn’t even count the four from high school/college that are now thankfully defunct.

Why do I have so many blogs? Some have been for a specific purpose/time period/topic/audience. And “audience” has often meant two or three friends or fellow writers.

But I think the truth is that blogging is the tool I use to think through and talk about stuff. It’s like that piece of journalism advice, write like you’re talking to a friend at the dinner table. I get stuck on my own, but if I imagine a reader, the thoughts and words come. (And often will not stop.)

I promise this blog will just be for writing / creative business though! (she said, optimistically) Writing updates, craft stuff, etc.

But because my other blogs cover so much of my writing life, and have in fact become literary projects in and of themselves, I have linked to / archived the most legible ones here, to follow or peruse as you please.
